Classic master craftsmanship, classic fedora silhouette — taken next-level! The fabulous twist to this beauty's crown: Love! And her upturned front brim (hello, eyes!), custom embroidery, burn motifs, hand-dyed silks, and layering of textiles place her (along with her DC cousins') in a hat styling class all her own.

With the textural, harmonizing design flow and attention to detail you love (and expect) from Dominique Cohen.

Each of our hats is a creation unto herself. None is mass produced. We made this beauty as a size 58cm, and can adjust her up or down one size (stretch, shim, respectively). Other sizes, personalized or as-designed, available by special order — let's talk hats!

  • Breathe Love, a designer felt hat by the collective of skilled artisans who are Dominique Cohen.
  • Classic fedora profile but with an (awesome!) twist to her crown + a flatteringly upturned front brim (hello, eyes).
  • 3 inch brim.
  • 3.75 inch crown height.
  • Size 58cm; we can adjust up or down one size (stretch or shim, respectively). Other sizes + custom finishings available by special order (use the above let's talk hats link, or the below go bespoke button to start a custom hat conversation).
  • Made of western weight felt, in silver belly.
  • Trimmed in double-dyed silk (have you seen our scarves and pillows made from the same?); washed-taupe grosgrain ribbon; and black suede.
  • Jewelry beauty includes, on the hat's left side, a hand-stitched flower in blackened sterling, sterling wire, and silver and black thread; and a pair of blackened sterling textural rings strung along the suede crown trim. The hat's right side jewelry features a bezel-set champagne diamond positioned next to the trio of sterling horizontal lines; a blackened sterling flower branch sewn onto the brim; and a blackened sterling textural hat pin tucked into the grosgrain ribbon.

Your hat size.

Determining your hat size is so easy: Run a tape measure (or string) around the circumference of your head an inch or so above your ears, leaving just enough wiggle room to fit your finger between your head and the tape/string. If using a tape measure, there's your hat diameter (see below); if you use a string, piece of ribbon, or similar, then compare with a ruler (or use a phone app) to see the length value. Or, message us and we'll help you with sizing — or with designing your dream hat!
